How Capptive8 built Lifeboost's entire Meta acquisition engine from scratch - scaling from $0 to $500K/month in ad spend in six months and generating $50M in revenue.

Lifeboost Coffee was built on a simple idea: coffee should be healthy. Co-founded by Dr. Charles Livingston, the brand produces low-acid, organic coffee that's tested for over 400 toxins, chemicals, and contaminants - making it one of the cleanest coffees on the market. For consumers with acid reflux, gut sensitivity, or anyone who simply wants to know what's in their cup, Lifeboost became the answer.
But great product alone doesn't build a business. When Capptive8 came on board, Lifeboost was generating just $17,000 a month in revenue - a side project on the verge of being shut down. Within three years, the brand was named the #1 fastest-growing coffee company in America by the Inc. 5000, climbing from #271 in year one to #80 in year two to #29 in year three. That growth was bootstrapped - no outside funding, every dollar reinvested from profitable sales.

When Lifeboost's founders brought in Capptive8, the brand was close to disappearing. Revenue had flatlined at $17,000 a month from a handful of affiliate sales. There was no Meta advertising running - zero spend, zero infrastructure, zero creative. A previous agency attempt had failed to produce results.
The founders were at a crossroads: either figure out how to acquire customers profitably, or shut the brand down. They had a product people loved once they tried it, but no system for putting it in front of new customers at scale. The challenge wasn't just growth - it was survival.

A four-pillar system built from scratch - from zero to the dominant coffee brand on Meta.
We built Lifeboost's entire creative system from scratch - testing over 5,000 creative variations across 1,000+ concepts over the partnership. Our methodology increased the win rate from the industry standard of 5% to over 50%, meaning we found winning creatives ten times faster than typical testing. That speed was essential: at the rate we were scaling spend, creative fatigue was constant, and only a high-velocity testing system could keep pace.
We started with Lifeboost's core audience - health-conscious women 35+ - then systematically expanded into new demographics. We built dedicated creative for seniors, for men (an under-tapped segment in the coffee category on Meta), and for mothers as household decision-makers. At peak, Lifeboost captured 42% share of voice among all coffee brands advertising on Meta - growing from zero to the dominant presence in the category.
We tested hundreds of landing page and offer variations to increase both conversion rate and average order value simultaneously. The biggest breakthrough: removing a lower-priced option from the offer page, which drove AOV up 2.5x while keeping CAC flat. That margin expansion gave us the room to scale spend aggressively without sacrificing profitability.
We ran extensive tests around the quality of signals sent back to Meta, refining who the algorithm targeted to attract higher-value customers at lower cost. This allowed us to reduce CAC and improve long-term customer value at the same time - a combination that's rare at scale and was critical to keeping the business bootstrapped and profitable.
Capptive8 didn't optimize an existing business - we built the acquisition engine from nothing. What started as $17,000 a month became a $50 million revenue powerhouse.

"Capptive8 didn't just scale our ads, they built the entire acquisition engine that turned Lifeboost into the fastest-growing DTC coffee brand in America. Over four-plus years together, they've consistently found new ways to reduce our CAC, improve our creative, and grow our subscriber base. They understand the coffee business, they understand Meta at a level nobody else does, and they treat our brand like it's their own."
